One chill carnivore
Behold the biggest predator on land or ice. Superbly insulated against the cold, polar bears are uniquely suited to life in iced-over regions like Greenland. However, due to climate change, summers have grown longer in the Arctic, cutting short the bears' hunting season. While still not listed as endangered, they're considered a vulnerable species. Fear not for our polar bear pal here, though. Judging by its full, healthy coat, this cold-loving carnivore is well fed, its high perch helping it spot any seals unfortunate enough to surface.
