Welcome to Denali National Park and Preserve. The American park in Alaska covers about two million hectares of land like Polychrome Pass, seen in our photo today. Denali's highlight is its namesake peak, the tallest mountain peak in North America at 6,190 metres. Dall sheep, which you can see here resting on a rock, are among the 'big five' local mammals many visitors hope to see in the park, along with moose, caribou, wolves and grizzly bears.
