Up and away!. Canadian National Exhibition
The grand and festive Canadian National Exhibition dates back almost 150 years. It is held in Toronto annually and goes on for 18 days; this year from August 18 until September 4. The exhibition grounds allow you to immerse yourself in various pavilions featuring indigenous art, mouth-watering delicacies, exciting rides, parades and multicultural performances. A highlight of the exhibition is the Canadian International Air show, which takes place in the festival's closing weekend. Overhead you can see Canadian and US military aircraft, stunt performers and civilian planes. Keep an eye out for the Snowbirds, the aerobatic flight team of the Royal Canadian Air Force, as they perform jaw-dropping acts of daring and teamwork.
