This is Two Jack Lake, one of most photographed lakes in the Canadian Rockies. You’ll find it in Banff National Park, and it is absolutley worth the visit no matter the time of year. However, if you want to see the bright purples, pinks, and greens of the Aurora Borealis, winter is your best bet. Banff is known to have the world’s largest dark sky preserves, making it a hotspot for tourists and stargazers alike.
