The Feldberg is called the highest mountain top in the Black Forest. Without a doubt it is the highest peak with its 1493 meters. It offers one of the most extensive panoramic views in Germany, especially in winter when there is a temperature inversion. On its top, there is a 21-meter-high tower with a radar station called the Feldberg tower. It can be comfortably reached in a few minutes with the Feldberg cable car or in around 40 minutes by foot.
