You’ll find the majestic waterfall in today’s image located on the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Goa. Dudhsagar Falls, which literally translates to “sea of milk”, earned its name as it resembles a heavy stream of flowing milk from a distance. It is amongst India’s tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 metres and an average width of 30 metres. Perched at the top of a crescent-shaped valley and surrounded by verdant forest with a rich biodiversity, the waterfall offers a mesmerising view that attracts a large number of local and foreign tourists.
