An archaelogical treasure. Nuchatlitz Provincial Park
On the west coast of Vancouver lies the Nuchatlitz Provincial Park which comprises of remote islands and reefs. Only accessibly by boat or a float plane, this area protects intertidal life, natural resources, and numerous archaeological sites. In addition to this, Nuchatlitz Provincial Park boasts a rich diversity of flora and fauna, making it an attractive destination for nature and wildlife lovers. The 2,135 hectares of protected area has been vital for migrating grey whales and the recovering population of sea otter. Over the years, the park has also gained popularity for kayaking and canoeing.
