Tofino, Canada
Today we're visiting the town of Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Known for its magnificent beaches, lush hiking trails and a tranquil coastline that overlooks the Pacific Ocean, Tofino is a popular destination throughout the year. There are lots of outdoor activities for visitors to enjoy, including whale watching. Between March and October, humpback whales, grey whales and transient orcas can be spotted in the waters here as they make the trip from their winter homes in Mexico and Hawaii over towards Alaska in the north.
