This wintery scene is from Alberta’s Jasper National Park, famous for its immense natural beauty and extraordinary wilderness. The mountain town of Jasper is set within a remote region of the Canadian Rockies. This time of the year, the chilly temperatures and shimmering glaciers give boost to the formation of ice crystals, ice caves, frozen waterfalls, and icy pathways, adding to the frosty winter charm.
