A land of extremes. Standing tall in the wilderness
Today, we’re in the land of extremes where travellers venture from home and away to experience Yukon’s rich biodiversity and breathtaking scenery. Here, at Kluane National Park, resides the nation’s highest peak – Mount Logan. Standing 5,959 metres tall, it is among the world’s most massive mountain blocks. In addition to Mount Logan, the park is home to a diverse wildlife habitat. Mountain goats, grizzly bears and caribou can be spotted in various parts of Kluane. A lush lot of aspen trees can also be found here given their ability to thrive in high-altitude areas and extreme cold regions.
