St Andrews Cathedral in Fife, Scotland
Built in 1158, St Andrews Cathedral (also known as the Cathedral of St Andrew), is a ruined Roman Catholic cathedral in the town of St Andrews, which is named after Scotland’s patron saint. It was once the largest church in Scotland but abandoned in the 16th century following the Scottish reformation. The site has been used for worship since the 8th century, when St Andrew's relics are said to have been brought here.
