Colourful lanscapes
The Gaspé Peninsula is a rugged region in eastern Quebec, spanning some 30,000 square miles. It is made of five areas – the Coast, Land’s End, the Chaleur Bay, the Upper Gaspe, and the Valley. Accessible all year round, the Gaspé Peninsula offers activities such as whale watching and kayaking in the summer, hiking in fall and spring, and skiing and snow shoeing come winter. Certain areas here stand as nesting homes to some 200,000 northern gannets. There are several look out spots to catch the seasonal bird migrations.
